(CS47H) TB11F bimetallic drain valve product description

The (CS47H) TB11F bimetallic drain valve utilizes the principle of thermal sensing to discharge condensed water, which can handle large start-up loads. When the system temperature and pressure increase, the stacked nickel chromium bimetallic components of the drain valve begin to expand, and when steam reaches the drain valve, the valve is tightly closed to prevent steam loss. They are the strongest thermal static drain valves, capable of resisting water hammer and preventing condensation corrosion. The displacement can reach 9000 kilograms per hour. Suitable for steam tracing pipelines, container heating pipelines, container heating, equipment insulation, and small steam equipment.

Working principle of (CS47H) TB11F bimetallic drain valve

The bimetallic strip drain valve is driven by a bimetallic strip temperature sensing element to open and close the valve core. When the device is just started, low-temperature condensed water appears in the pipeline, and the bimetallic strip is flat. The valve core is in the open position under the elastic force of the spring. As the temperature of the condensed water gradually increases, the bimetallic sensing element begins to bend and deform, pushing the valve core towards the closed position. Before the condensate reaches saturation temperature, the drain valve * is closed. There is always high-temperature condensed water in front of the valve, with no steam leakage and energy-saving effect The bimetallic strip drain valve is the most structurally robust drain valve among the thermo static type drain valves. The advantages of bimetallic strip drain valves are: not afraid of water hammer, high pressure resistance, small size, light weight, not afraid of freezing, able to automatically exhaust air, and can be installed at any position; The back pressure rate is greater than 80%.

(CS47H) TB11F bimetallic drain valve product features

The bimetallic strip drain valve is suitable for draining steam main pipelines, pipe network tracing, instrument tracing, domestic heating, and heating equipment that allows the storage of high-temperature condensed water. It has a wide range of applications. The main component of the bimetallic strip drain valve is the bimetallic strip temperature sensing element, which deforms due to the rise and fall of steam temperature, pushing the valve core to open and close the valve. The bimetallic strip drain valve is equipped with adjustment bolts, which can adjust the operating temperature according to needs. Generally, the undercooling adjustment range is below the saturation temperature by 15 ℃ -30 ℃, the back pressure rate is greater than 70%, it can discharge non condensable gases, is not afraid of freezing, has a small volume, can resist water hammer, high pressure, and can be installed at any position. Bimetallic sheets have fatigue and require frequent adjustment.

When the device is just started, low-temperature condensed water appears in the pipeline. The bimetallic strip is flat, and the valve core is in the open position under the elastic force of the spring. As the temperature of the condensed water gradually increases, the bimetallic sensing element begins to bend and deform, pushing the valve core towards the closed position. Before the condensate reaches saturation temperature, the drain valve begins to close. The bimetallic strip controls the valve opening and closing according to the temperature changes of steam, blocking steam and draining water.

Using imported heat sensitive materials, high sensitivity, sturdy and durable;

There is always condensed water forming a water seal effect in front of the valve, and there is no fresh steam leakage;

Good exhaust performance and resistance to water hammer;

Can be installed at any angle;

Optional flange and threaded connection methods.

1. The discharge temperature of the condensate can be adjusted to effectively utilize the sensible heat of the condensate.

2. There is always condensed water in front of the valve, forming a water seal and no steam leakage.

3. It can be installed at any angle and the drainage temperature can be adjusted at any time.

4. It is resistant to water hammer and has excellent exhaust performance.

5. Spherical closure method, long service life

The installation of bimetallic strip drain valves should meet the following requirements:

1) The bimetallic strip drain valve group should be installed near the hot equipment or pipeline and below the condensate discharge outlet, and in a location that is easy to maintain. If the distance from the drainage point is too far, air or steam will accumulate in the pipe in front of the valve, causing the bimetallic strip drain valve to be in a closed state and hindering the flow of condensed water.

2) The bimetallic plate drain valve body should be installed vertically and not tilted to facilitate steam blocking and drainage, and the flow direction of the medium should be the same as the valve body marked *.

3) When assembling bimetallic drain valves, it is necessary to set up bypass pipes, flushing pipes, inspection pipes, check valves, and filters, and install necessary flanges or flexible joints for easy maintenance and disassembly.

4) A shut-off valve must be installed before and after the bimetallic strip drain valve to facilitate maintenance and shut-off. If the condensate can be recovered, this valve may not be installed.

5) A filter should be installed between the bimetallic strip drain valve and the front shut-off valve to prevent dirt in the water from blocking the bimetallic strip drain valve (the thermal power bimetallic strip drain valve comes with a filter).

6) A flushing pipe is installed in front of the valve group for initial flushing drainage and air release during system operation, to prevent blockage or damage to the bimetallic strip drain valve.

7) An inspection pipe is installed between the bimetallic strip drain valve and the rear shut-off valve to check the working condition of the bimetallic strip drain valve. If a large amount of steam is emitted when the inspection tube is opened, it indicates that the bimetallic strip drain valve has lost its steam blocking function and needs to be repaired or replaced.

8) Setting up a bypass pipe is mainly used to discharge a large amount of condensed water when the system starts running. It is not appropriate to open the bypass branch during the maintenance of bimetallic strip drain valves, as this can cause steam to enter the return water system, affecting the balance of return water pressure in other heating equipment and pipe networks. Practice has proven that setting up bypass pipes can cause more harm and less benefit, so they are generally not necessary; For production heat equipment that requires strict requirements for continuous production and heating temperature, bypass pipes should be installed.
