Working principle

This valve utilizes the principle of buoyancy, and the floating ball rises and falls with the change of water level according to the amount of condensed water. It automatically adjusts the opening of the valve seat hole and continuously discharges condensed water. When the condensed water stops entering, the floating ball descends to the bottom by its own weight and closes the drainage valve seat hole. Due to the drainage valve seat hole being below the condensation water level, water vapor naturally separates and forms a water seal, achieving no steam leakage.

Usage and maintenance

1. It should be confirmed whether the maximum values of the valve body material, pressure, and temperature can meet the requirements of the working conditions.

2. Before installation, the pipeline must be cleaned to remove debris.

3. The installation location should be as close as possible to the heating equipment.

4. It should be installed horizontally at the lowest point of the pipeline, with the flow direction aligned with the direction marked on the valve body.

5. Each heating device should be equipped with its own drain valve to avoid mutual interference.

6. Slowly open the drain valve to gradually raise the temperature to a normal state while ensuring the normal operation of the system.

7. Regular maintenance is required to ensure the proper functioning of the drain valve.
